Elizabeth Hurley, 59, Dazzles in Plunging Mesh Gown Alongside Son Damian, 22, at Black Women Rising UK Gala
Actress Elizabeth Hurley looked stunning as she attended the Black Women Rising UK inaugural fundraising gala alongside her son, Damian, on Friday evening.
The 59-year-old star turned heads in a plunging mesh gown adorned with quirky embroidery and gold sequins, showcasing her figure as she arrived at The Waldorf Hilton Hotel in London. Hurley completed her glamorous look with gold platform heels and a matching box clutch, styling her hair in loose waves.
Damian, 22, matched his mother’s style in a signature plunging suit, complemented by flared leather trousers and heeled ankle boots. The mother-son duo was joined by charity founder Leanne Pero, who looked elegant in an off-the-shoulder velvet gown.
Black Women Rising UK aims to raise cancer awareness among women of colour and provide support throughout their treatment.
In addition to the gala, Elizabeth and Damian are set to lead a star-studded line-up at this year’s Melbourne Cup Carnival in Australia. The pair will be trackside at Flemington over two days as guests of the Victoria Racing Club.
This marks Elizabeth’s return to Australia after 11 years; her last appearance was with then-fiancé Shane Warne at the 2013 Australian Open tennis tournament. The actress and her model son will participate in Melbourne Cup Day and Crown Oaks Day from the renowned Birdcage Enclosure. They will also announce the winners of the Best Suited and Best Dressed categories in the Fashions on the Field competition.
“We are thrilled to be coming to Australia to celebrate the Melbourne Cup Carnival with the Victoria Racing Club,” Elizabeth said in a statement. “Watched by millions across the globe, we are looking forward to being at Flemington to experience the event first-hand and hopefully find a winner along the way,” she added, expressing excitement for the fashion and entertainment that makes the carnival unique.
Elizabeth last turned heads at Flemington in 2011 when she was spotted with Warne. The British actress and model began dating the late cricketer in 2010, engaged a year later, and split in 2013. Damian, born in 2002, is the son of Elizabeth and her late ex-boyfriend, American businessman Steve Bing, who passed away in 2020.
