Dutch police report the release of three hostages from a building in a Dutch town, yet caution that the situation remains ongoing and unresolved.
A significant police presence, including heavily armed officers and special arrest teams, cordoned off part of the town as reports emerged of multiple individuals being held hostage in a building.
Gelderland Police confirmed the release of the hostages but provided no further details on whether more individuals were still held captive within the premises. Videos captured the moment three people emerged from the club with their hands raised in surrender.
