The social media profiles of DUP leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson have mysteriously disappeared, raising questions about the timing and reasons behind their deletion.
As of Friday morning, the Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn pages belonging to the 61-year-old Lagan Valley MP were nowhere to be found, leaving observers puzzled.
The Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) has been contacted to clarify the sudden removal of Sir Jeffrey’s social media presence.
Just days before the disappearance of his accounts, Sir Jeffrey had utilized his platforms to congratulate Simon Harris on his appointment as the new Fine Gael leader.
In a separate incident last Wednesday, Sir Jeffrey was involved in an altercation onboard a plane at Heathrow Airport. A passenger was reportedly removed from the flight following a “verbal altercation” with the DUP leader.
Although the DUP refrained from commenting on the incident, a party source later confirmed that Sir Jeffrey was the other individual involved. The source added that the passenger removed from the flight had directed verbal abuse towards Sir Jeffrey.
