“I’m going to work on that from the day, hopefully, the day that we win, which is Nov. 5th, in the evening,” Trump stated during the rally.

Trump emphasized his intentions, saying, “On the evening of Nov. 5th, I will call Putin. I will call Zelensky. I’ll say, ‘We got to stop it.’” He vowed to take action as president-elect, asserting, “That’ll give me plenty of credibility.

I don’t have to wait until Jan. 20th [Inauguration Day]. I’m going to try and get it done sooner than that.” The 78-year-old former president has long claimed he could resolve the conflict in just one day.

Last month, Trump met with Zelensky at Trump Tower in Manhattan, highlighting what he described as a “very good relationship” with the Ukrainian leader.

According to journalist Bob Woodward, he has reportedly maintained communication with Putin, claiming to have had “as many as seven” phone conversations with the Russian president since leaving office less than four years ago.

“Sadly, zero chance that Putin would have gone into Ukraine if I were president,” Trump said at the rally, expressing regret over the current situation.

Thousands of supporters arrived hours before Trump’s speech at the Thomas & Mack Center on the University of Nevada — Las Vegas campus, where the rally was organized by the Turning Point political action committee.

The pre-show featured a diverse array of Hawaiian and Asian-American/Pacific Islander performers, showcasing cultural representation that both political parties have sought to appeal to in Nevada.

Prominent figures attending the rally included former race car driver Danica Patrick, mixed martial artist Jorge Masvidal, actress Gina Carano, and former NFL linebacker Shawne Merriman.

Nevada GOP Senate candidate Sam Brown, Florida Senator Marco Rubio, former presidential primary candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, and former Hawaii Representative Tulsi Gabbard, who recently announced her switch to the Republican Party, were also present.

Genevieve Dew, a Las Vegas resident and opera singer who attended the rally, expressed her support for Trump and his candidates, stating, “To see these candidates in person and to see that, my God, they are strong on their word and again, promises made, promises kept.

“It has been proven for four years, and it will be proven again now,” said Dew, a Black voter. He dismissed former President Obama’s recent plea for voters of colour to support Vice President Kamala Harris. Dew added, “I voted for Obama the first time he ran, but not the second time. He didn’t do anything for Black people.”

Alexander Spellane, founder and CEO of Fisher Capital Group, a Los Angeles-based precious metals firm that sponsored the event, voiced his support for Trump.

“We share the same values,” he said. “More importantly, though, I believe that he will be someone that can enormously help the economy.

My concern is getting the right person in office to do the best job for this country.”

Many attendees traveled significant distances to participate, including Raisa Tomazic, a 35-year-old civilian Navy employee from Seattle, who stumbled upon the event during a trip with her husband.

Tomazic expressed relief at being able to openly support Trump in Nevada, where she feels like a minority. “The majority of the people there are anti-Trump,” she said.

“Being here is very different because people support Trump, and we have more freedom to wear a MAGA hat here.”

Montana House of Representatives member Braxton Mitchell, 24, attended the rally with his grandfather, who had just moved to a nearby city.

“I definitely want to see at least one or two more rallies before Election Day,” Mitchell told reporters, noting the significance of Nevada in the upcoming election. “Obviously, things are getting down to the very end.”
