The last time Joe Biden and Donald Trump met on a debate stage, Biden dismissed claims about his son Hunter’s laptop as Russian disinformation, calling it “a Russian plant” and “a bunch of garbage.”
However, new revelations have brought to light the truth behind these assertions.
In October 2020, just two days after Biden’s senior campaign adviser Antony Blinken prompted former acting CIA director Mike Morell to write a letter discrediting the laptop, Biden used this false narrative during the debate. The letter, signed by 51 former intelligence officials, claimed the laptop had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian intelligence operation.”
The Biden campaign was scrambling to counter reports about Joe Biden’s meetings with Hunter’s foreign clients. Morell rallied 50 other ex-intelligence officials to support this misleading narrative.
In emails obtained by congressional investigators, Morell wrote, “Campaign will be thrilled,” indicating the letter was designed to provide Biden with a talking point for the debate.
Biden assured the American people of his integrity on the debate stage, saying, “You know my character. You know my reputation is for honour and telling the truth.” However, new evidence shows otherwise.
Trump will soon have the opportunity to confront Biden about these lies during their upcoming debate. Hunter’s laptop has since been verified by the FBI and entered into the official record as Government Exhibit 16 in the Delaware District Court, contributing to Hunter’s conviction on three felony gun charges this week.
Despite this, some media outlets remain reluctant to acknowledge the laptop’s authenticity.
The New York Times, for instance, has described the laptop’s contents as “unproven,” incorrectly suggesting the FBI only confirmed its authenticity by matching the serial number with Hunter’s iCloud account.
IRS whistleblower Supervisory Special Agent Gary Shapley testified that the FBI’s computer forensics experts thoroughly reviewed the laptop’s files. Using metadata analysis, they determined the laptop had not been manipulated and was eligible to be used as evidence in court.
Additionally, FBI agent Erica Jensen revealed that investigators obtained a covert search warrant for Hunter’s Apple iCloud account shortly after he abandoned the laptop at a repair shop. This corroborated much of the laptop’s content with iCloud backups, further validating its authenticity.
The due diligence performed on the laptop’s contents is comprehensive. Investigators corroborated individual messages and emails with witnesses and former associates, including Hunter’s ex-girlfriend Zoe Kestan and his former business partner Tony Bobulinski.
Hunter’s laptop contains evidence that Joe Biden lied about his knowledge of his son’s overseas business dealings. It shows that he met with over a dozen of Hunter’s foreign business partners and that Hunter had paid some of his father’s bills.
House impeachment committees have subpoenaed bank records and conducted witness interviews, revealing more details of this intricate web.
IRS investigators, obstructed by the DOJ and CIA, were told, “Don’t ask questions about the Big Guy.” Despite these barriers, IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joe Ziegler have ensured Hunter faces justice.
The upcoming tax trial in California could further implicate Joe Biden, presenting significant challenges for the President.
As the investigation continues, the full extent of Joe Biden’s involvement in his family’s global influence-peddling scheme may finally come to light.
