Donald Trump Plans to Keep VP Pick Secret Until Convention, says Nikki Haley will be ‘on our team in some form’

Former President Donald Trump announced Thursday that he would delay revealing his choice for running mate until the Republican National Convention begins on July 15, extending his original timeline for the announcement.

North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, speaking to The Post after TrTrump’sally in Wildwood, NJ, on May 11, mentioned that the former president had hinted at a list of up to 50 potential running mates. However, Trump remained tight-lipped, declining to reveal specifics about his top contenders.
