Donald Trump Makes Surprising TikTok Debut at UFC 302 Amid Felony Conviction”

Former US President Donald Trump made his debut on TikTok during last night’s UFC event.

This is a surprise, considering his previous attempts to ban the social media platform due to national security concerns while in office.

Trump shared a video montage of his evening at the UFC fight in New Jersey, just days after being convicted as a felon.

Speculation has arisen among social media users, questioning whether this 13-second video, titled ‘Launching my TikTok at UFC 302’, is an effort to appeal to a younger audience and potential voters.

Upon his arrival at the Prudential Center in Newark, where the event took place, Trump was met with a standing ovation and chants of ‘USA, USA’.

Earlier this week, Trump was found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying records in an attempt to cover up a $130,000 payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels, allegedly related to a sexual affair.

Each count carries a maximum sentence of up to four years in prison. This makes him the first US president in history to be convicted of a felony, a trial he has described as politically motivated and rigged.

Despite his felony conviction, Trump remains eligible to run for president, even though individuals with felony convictions are not allowed to vote in the US.

The TikTok post shows him entering the arena while chants of ‘we want Trump’ and ‘f*ck Joe Biden’ resonate through the crowd, with some proudly waving Trump 2024 flags.

Before taking his seat, Trump engaged with various supporters, exchanging high-fives and handshakes while repeatedly expressing gratitude to his fans.

Commentators at the event expressed their surprise and awe at the overwhelming applause Trump received upon his entrance.

After UFC athlete Kevin Holland won his match against Michal Oleksiejzcuk, he jumped out of the cage to shake hands with Trump and appeared to whisper something in his ear.

It is worth noting that TikTok is owned by the Chinese company ByteDance, which adds another layer of significance to Trump’s presence on the platform.
