A tragic incident unfolded this morning in Co Kildare as a cyclist lost their life following a collision with a car at Knocknagee.
The collision occurred close to Carlow Town, shortly before 11.30 am on Easter Sunday. Emergency services, along with Gardaí, are currently at the scene, with the male cyclist, aged in his 60s, pronounced dead upon their arrival. His body has been transferred to Naas General Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
