A hotel manager in Barnet has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after being convicted of raping a guest and sexually assaulting three other women over a 15-year period.
Ahmed Fahmy, 46, exploited his role at the hotel to access guests’ rooms without their consent, targeting vulnerable women separated from their friends during nights out.
Two victims first approached police after a disturbing encounter with Fahmy. The women, who had lost contact with their group, paid him for another room, only for one of them to awaken and find Fahmy licking her feet.

Later that evening, when two more women returned to the hotel after a night out and misplaced their room key, Fahmy coerced one of them into staying in his own room. He then raped her.
A deeper police investigation uncovered that Fahmy’s predatory behavior dated back to at least 2008. Authorities linked him to two earlier sexual assaults, which also involved inappropriate contact with women’s feet.
Fahmy was sentenced to a decade in prison, with an additional three years on extended licence, meaning he will remain under supervision after his release.
