Comedian and broadcaster Hardeep Singh Kohli has appeared in court charged with a series of alleged sex-related offences against three women, with a trial date now set for later this year.
Kohli, 56, was at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday to face six charges relating to incidents said to have occurred between 2007 and 2016.

The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant denies all allegations.
Prosecutors claim the alleged offences took place at multiple locations, including BBC studios at Pacific Quay in Glasgow.
It is alleged that between April 2007 and September 2008, Kohli indecently assaulted a woman by squeezing her bottom and attempting to hug her.
The same woman was allegedly subjected to a breach of the peace by Kohli at an unidentified Glasgow bar and restaurant during the same period.
Prosecutors further allege he indecently assaulted her at the city’s Radisson Hotel, by stroking her back and touching her hair.
In a separate allegation, Kohli is accused of indecently assaulting a second woman at the Cross Keys Hotel in Canonbie, Dumfries and Galloway, in June 2008.
Court papers state he allegedly seized the woman by the arm, lunged towards her, and attempted to kiss her.
It is further alleged that on the same occasion, he committed a breach of the peace and carried out a sexual act in her presence.
The sixth charge relates to December 2016, when Kohli allegedly sexually assaulted a third woman at the Yes Bar in Glasgow.
He is accused of seizing her by the body and attempting to insert his tongue into her mouth.
Kohli has lodged a special defence of consent in relation to the alleged 2008 incident at the Cross Keys Hotel.

His defence lawyer, Urfan Dar, told the court: “There is a special defence of consent for charge four.”
Prosecutor Sean Docherty confirmed the Crown intends to call seven civilian witnesses and one police officer.
Sheriff John McCormick set the trial for 24 November at Glasgow Sheriff Court, with the hearing expected to last five days.
The court heard that vulnerable witness orders had been granted for all three complainants, and that a joint minute had been agreed between the prosecution and defence.
Kohli, who lives in Glasgow, appeared wearing a purple turban and a black and grey Adidas tracksuit. He was released on bail.

He was arrested and charged in August 2023 following an investigation into “non-recent” sexual offences, after several individuals raised concerns about his behaviour.
In 2020, Kohli faced separate allegations of sexual harassment from multiple women, later issuing a public apology, saying his actions had left women feeling “intimidated, undermined and undervalued.”

The comedian rose to prominence through appearances on BBC radio and television, including Loose Ends and Question Time. In 2018, he appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, where he was the fifth housemate to be evicted.
