The disruptive incident resulted in significant flight delays exceeding two hours, ultimately exceeding the permissible flying hours for the flight crew. Consequently, all 200 passengers were provided with overnight accommodation at a nearby hotel, with subsequent flights rescheduled for the following day.

Ryanair acknowledged the incident in a statement, addressing the disruptive behaviour exhibited by a small group of passengers and the subsequent measures taken by crew and authorities. The airline expressed regret over the disruption caused to passengers and assured that comprehensive arrangements were made to facilitate their onward travel to London Stansted Airport.

The incident underscores airlines’ challenges in managing in-flight disruptions and highlights the importance of maintaining safety and order onboard commercial flights.
