British Tourist Drowns in Tragic Goa Beach Accident

A British man tragically drowned while swimming at a beach in India, according to reports from local media.

The victim, a 72-year-old man, and his wife were regular visitors to Goa, located in the western part of the country.

Reports indicate that the man was caught in a strong current while swimming and was subsequently pulled back to the beach by lifeguards on jetskis.

Despite the efforts of lifeguards and medical personnel, who administered CPR at Talpona beach in Canacona, the man could not be revived.

Authorities have registered the incident as an ‘unnatural’ death, and an autopsy has been requested to determine the exact cause of death.
