Blake Lively has been called out by fans after a wardrobe mishap was spotted during her appearance at the premiere of her new film, Another Simple Favor, in New York City
The 37-year-old actress attended the event at Jazz at Lincoln Center wearing a fitted blue gown featuring cut-out details across the bodice. While Lively’s hair and makeup were praised, some fans were quick to point out that her spray tan appeared to have transferred onto her dress.

Comments surfaced online shortly after the event, with one Instagram user writing: “The body make-up all over her dress is sending me.” Another added: “All the tanner stains around the armpit.”
A third, referencing Lively’s ongoing legal dispute with co-star Justin Baldoni, said: “Gross, you can see her spray tan on her dress.
Under the armpit. For a person who made fun of her co-star’s large nose (among various others she has publicly mocked), she has opened herself up to the same type of scrutiny.”

Despite the criticism, many fans praised Lively’s overall appearance, with one describing her outfit as “everything” and another writing:
“Who is dressing her?! They deserve an award. She has slayed every red carpet, I am living for her hair.”
The actress has been promoting Another Simple Favor alongside Anna Kendrick, appearing to put recent legal challenges behind her.

Lively, who has been married to actor Ryan Reynolds for 13 years, attended the premiere with him as they presented a united front amid the controversy.
The couple, along with publicist Leslie Sloane, are being sued by Baldoni for defamation and extortion after Lively accused him of sexual harassment.
Baldoni, who starred in and directed It Ends With Us, has denied the allegations. A trial is expected to begin in 2026.
