Bethenny Frankel, 54, best known for her role on The Real Housewives of New York, has voiced growing alarm about a recent surge in unexplained drone activity over the Northeast.
The Skinnygirl founder shared her escalating concerns on TikTok, revealing that she recently spotted a drone hovering over her chauffeur-driven car in Rye, New York. The incident has left her feeling “freaked out,” with Frankel admitting, “If you’re asking me if I have anxiety and am unsettled by the drones and orbs, the answer is a resounding yes.”
Frankel recounted feeling so overwhelmed by the phenomenon that she became dizzy and dehydrated. “I was lying on my kitchen floor because I got lightheaded… I can’t stop thinking about it. I have to try to live normally, or I’ll end up like Carrie in Homeland,” she said.

Since mid-November, thousands of drone sightings have been reported across the region. The unexplained activity has prompted local and state officials, including President-elect Trump, to call for the drones to be shot down. The FBI and Department of Homeland Security announced Monday that they are investigating whether the sightings threaten public safety.
Frankel delved deeper into her fears, citing a conversation with a well-connected friend whose father worked on secret projects for the Pentagon and NASA. According to her source, the drones may be sniffing out something dangerous, potentially linked to missing wartime weapons. Frankel also mentioned her friend’s claims of radiation spikes in areas where drones have been sighted.
“So he said it’s time to think about where I am and that I might want to go somewhere with my daughter,” she revealed.
Drawing a parallel to early warnings about the COVID-19 pandemic, Frankel cautioned against dismissing the issue. “We blow things off and think nothing’s going to happen, but things do happen,” she said, recalling a conversation with her driver months before the pandemic.
Frankel also weighed in on former President Trump’s recent comments at Mar-a-Lago, where he suggested the government knows more about the drones than it’s sharing. “I agree with Trump,” Frankel stated. “Something is wrong. Otherwise, they would eliminate these drones. Everyone’s being very cagey.”
The RHONY alum asserted that her contact has been speaking with government officials who share his concerns. “They agree something’s happening and are watching closely now,” she said.
Frankel’s candid remarks underline the widespread unease surrounding the mysterious drone activity as investigations continue.
