Beckhams Celebrate 25th Anniversary by Recreating Iconic Purple Wedding Outfits
Victoria and David Beckham marked their 25th wedding anniversary by revisiting their iconic all-purple reception outfits. A day before their milestone anniversary, the couple posted a nostalgic photo of themselves seated on the same throne-style chairs from their wedding.
“Lo” k what we found… 😅💜,” D” vid, 49, captioned the picture, which delighted fans and friends alike.
The Beckhams married on July 4, 1999, in a grand celebration at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland. Victoria wore several extravagant outfits throughout the day, starting with a strapless Vera Wang ballgown, complete with a corset by Mr. Pearl and a 20-foot train.
David complemented her in an ivory suit with an ascot before both changed into their memorable purple ensembles for the reception. Even their son, Brooklyn Beckham, now 25, wore a matching purple onesie and cowboy hat.
Though it’s unclear whether the outfits were original or replicas, the stylish tribute was widely appreciated, and comments poured in, celebrating their look and reminiscing about the event. Andy Cohen noted, “Thy still fit great!”
In the years since their wedding, the Beckhams have expanded their family with three more children: Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 12. They also renewed their vows in an intimate ceremony after DavDavid’sleged affair in 2003. Victoria, 50, named a perfume Suite 302, inspired by their second honeymoon in Paris and the Roberto Cavalli dress she wore for the vow renewal.
As fans eagerly anticipate the next celebration, they may revisit their vow renewal outfits for their second wedding anniversary in 2028.
