Former President Barack Obama was recently seen at Downing Street, where he is expected to hold a private meeting with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. Before entering No.10, Obama waved to reporters, acknowledging their presence.

According to the Prime Minister’s official spokesperson, Obama’s visit was an informal courtesy drop-in during his London trip, primarily focusing on activities related to the Obama Foundation. The Prime Minister gladly welcomed the opportunity to discuss the foundation’s initiatives with Obama.

Having served two terms in the White House from 2009 to 2017, Obama’s presence on Downing Street marks a significant engagement, especially with his successor, Trump’s tenure. Obama’s last visit to Downing Street occurred in 2016, during which he met with then-Prime Minister David Cameron to discuss matters concerning an impending Brexit vote.

As Obama exited Downing Street, he briefly engaged with the media, responding to their questions with amusement and saying, “I’m tempted.” Following this interaction, he departed in a vehicle alongside Jane D Hartley, the US ambassador to the UK.
