Israeli model Bar Refaeli captivated onlookers at the Nuovo IMAIE Awards on Friday, the penultimate day of the 81st Venice International Film Festival.
Wearing a stunning gold gown, Refaeli embodied elegance as she walked the red carpet at the prestigious event.

The 39-year-old model dazzled in a long-sleeve gold dress that hugged her figure perfectly, with draped details and a slightly cinched waist. The semi-sheer skirt of the maxi gown accentuated her long legs, and she completed the look with strappy black sandal heels.

A striking set of diamond jewelry, including a chunky chain with a purple stone pendant and sparkling earrings, further enhanced her ensemble. Refaeli kept her makeup natural, letting her features shine as she smiled and waved to the crowd.
Her golden locks were styled in light waves, cascading elegantly behind her as she posed for photographers. The Nuovo IMAIE Awards, part of the 81st Venice International Film Festival, celebrate emerging talents selected by the National Union of Italian Film Critics (SNCCI) and the National Union of Italian Film Journalists (SNGCI). This year’s event saw Tecla Insolia and Martina Scrinzi honoured, with Italian actress Teresa Saponangelo serving as the Godmother of the edition.

The festival, which began on August 28, featured notable screenings, including Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Sigourney Weaver was set to receive the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement. Weaver expressed her honour at receiving the award, stating it was a privilege she shared with all her collaborators.

George Clooney and Amal Clooney attended last week for the debut of *Wolfs*, directed by Jon Watts, which also features Brad Pitt. Angelina Jolie was in Venice to promote her film *Maria*, portraying opera legend Maria Callas. The schedules were reportedly arranged to avoid any overlap between Jolie and Pitt.

Other highlights included ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’, featuring stars Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, and Daniel Craig’s appearance in his film ‘Queer’. Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton were also in Venice for Pedro Almodóvar’s English-language debut *The Room Next Door*. The festival will close with Pupi Avati’s *The American Backyard* on September 7.
