Anthony Joshua admits that if he loses to Otto Wallin on Saturday, his career could be over
Anthony Joshua is set to face Otto Wallin in a highly anticipated heavyweight about in Saudi Arabia on the “Day of Reckoning”. Joshua, a two-time world champion, aims to win his third fight of 2023 after victories over Jermaine Franklin Jr and Robert Helenius earlier in the year.
The 34-year-old understands that defeat could damage his future in the sport and has admitted “there is no future” if he fails to beat Wallin.
Wallin, a Swedish fighter with just one career defeat to his name, narrowly lost to Tyson Fury in 2019 but has won all six fights since.
He is confident he can come out on top in Saudi Arabia and does not think it will be an “upset” if he does so.
The co-main event of the evening will feature Deontay Wilder taking on Joseph Parker.
Wilder has claimed 42 of his 43 victories by knockout and insists he will do the same on Saturday. On the other hand, Parker promises to put on a display for those in attendance and is confident in his game plan and strategy.
The card features eight fights and will be an exciting night for boxing fans.
