Aer Lingus Moves to New Terminal at Chicago O’Hare Airport
Irish holidaymakers flying with Aer Lingus can expect a significant change as the airline transitions to a “new home” within a prominent US airport.
Starting January 24, 2024, all Aer Lingus flights to and from Chicago O’Hare Airport will operate from Terminal 3.
In a recent update on their website, Aer Lingus informed customers about the relocation, stating, “We have moved to a new home in Chicago O’Hare (ORD) Terminal 3.
All of our flights now depart from and arrive at Terminal 3.” They also expressed their ongoing commitment to warmly welcoming passengers upon arrival and bidding them farewell as they leave.
Terminal 3 at Chicago O’Hare, operated by American Airlines, boasts extensive facilities across four concourses.
Aer Lingus flights will be accommodated at Concourses H and K, providing seamless connections to destinations across the US and beyond.
Passengers can take advantage of enhanced retail, dining, and airport amenities, including free Wi-Fi, ATMs, currency exchange services, duty-free shopping, a variety of restaurants and cafes, as well as family-friendly spaces and ample seating options.
“Pay Day” Sale Offers Exciting Deals on Flights
In addition to the terminal relocation, Aer Lingus has launched a special “payday” sale, offering discounted fares to popular destinations.
Travellers can enjoy savings of €20 on return flights from Ireland to the UK and Europe, €100 off return flights to North America, and €200 off business class fares.
With fares starting from €50.99, passengers can jet off to cities like Brussels, Hamburg, Paris, and Frankfurt. Other enticing destinations include Bordeaux, Alicante, Malaga, and Split, with fares ranging from €99.99 to €139.99.
For transatlantic travellers, Aer Lingus offers affordable fares to iconic US cities such as New York City starting from €295, Boston from €316, Washington from €326, and Los Angeles from €386.
Excitingly, Aer Lingus is set to launch two new North American routes this spring/summer, including flights to Minneapolis-St. Paul will start on April 29, and the inaugural service to Denver, Colorado, will begin on May 17, 2024. Both destinations are included in the ongoing “Pay Day” sale.
Act fast to secure these discounted fares, as the offer is valid until Tuesday, January 30, 2024, for travel between February 1 and May 31, 2024.
