Gardai are appealing for witnesses and camera footage following a robbery on the hard shoulder of the N7 in Co Kildare. A woman was the victim of the theft while pulling over her car. The Gardaí has launched an investigation.
Yesterday afternoon, a woman was robbed on the hard shoulder of the N7 near Kill, Co Kildare, sparking a police investigation.
The incident occurred around 2 pm when the woman pulled over between Junction 7 and Junction 7 southbound. Another vehicle parked in front of her, and a male suspect exited the car.
Following an altercation, the suspect stole personal items from the woman’s car before fleeing the scene. Fortunately, the woman did not sustain any severe injuries.
Gardaí have not made any arrests yet and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Specifically, individuals travelling on the N7 between 1:45 pm and 2:15 pm yesterday, especially between Junction 7 (Kill) and Junction 8 (Johnstown), are asked to provide any camera footage, including dash cam recordings, to assist with the investigation.
