A significant amount of suspected cocaine, worth tens of millions of euros, has been seized on a cargo ship in Limerick, Ireland.
The vessel, which docked into Foynes Pork yesterday, was searched by customs officers and Gardaí, leading to the discovery of the drugs.
According to M10News, the 20,000-tonne ship was transporting grain and illegal substances.
This is the second large-scale cocaine seizure at sea this year, following the €157 million worth of the drug found on the MV Matthew in September.
The operation is ongoing, and further searches are expected to be carried out this morning.
