Dakota Johnson, the star of the upcoming Marvel movie Madame Web, appeared stunningly at the Vogue Brazil Ball in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday, February 3, 2024.
The actress wore a custom-made Annie Ibiza Cobweb gown that featured a sheer fabric with a glittering spiderweb pattern made of beads and crystals. The dress also had a long train and a matching veil that covered her head.

Johnson, who plays the psychic Cassandra Webb in Madame Web, seemed to channel her character’s style with the web-like dress. She completed her look with a dark burgundy lipstick, a pink blush, and smoky eye makeup. She also wore her hair in soft waves with bangs.

The Vogue Brazil Ball is an annual event celebrating the Brazilian carnival and fashion. Johnson was one of the many celebrities who attended the glamorous party, which had a theme of “The Future is Now”. Some other guests included Margot Robbie, who promoted her movie Barbie with doll-inspired outfits, and Zendaya, who wore a futuristic silver jumpsuit.
Johnson’s Madame Web is set to hit theaters on February 14, 2024. The movie is based on the Marvel comic book character of the same name, who is a blind and older woman with precognitive abilities and a connection to the web of life and destiny. Johnson has described the movie as a “wild experience” and a “completely different way of making films”.
