Wendy Williams, the former host of the popular talk show The Wendy Williams Show, has revealed that she has no money left and is struggling with her health and personal issues.
In a new documentary titled Where Is Wendy Williams?, set to air on Lifetime on February 24 and 25, Williams opens up about her life after leaving her show in 2022 due to various health problems. One of them is Graves’ disease, an autoimmune disorder that affects the thyroid gland.

The documentary also features interviews with Williams’ family and friends, who express their concern for her well-being and those taking advantage of her vulnerability.
In the trailer for the documentary, which was briefly posted online before being deleted, Williams is seen crying and saying: “I have no money. I will tell you something – if it happens to me, it could happen to you.”

Williams also admits that she is still dealing with the aftermath of her divorce from her ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, who cheated on her with another woman and fathered a child with her.
Williams’ son, Kevin Hunter Jr., says in the documentary that his mother has always tried to hide her problems from the public but that there is “something wrong going on”.

“She’s weak and vulnerable, and she needs to be around people who aren’t going to take advantage of that,” he says.
Williams’ sister, Wanda, also breaks down in tears as she reveals that Williams was placed under financial guardianship in 2022, which prevents her from accessing her own money and assets.
“We are her family and you tell me that I’m not capable of taking care of my sister. What would you do? What should I do?” she asks.
Williams, who became a household name with her candid and controversial style of interviewing celebrities and commenting on pop culture, has been largely absent from the media since leaving her show.
She announced in 2021 that she was living in a sober house to deal with her addiction issues, which she said stemmed from her childhood trauma and her marital problems.
She also faced several health scares, including fainting on live TV in 2017 and fracturing her shoulder in 2018.
Williams’ fans have been worried about her condition and have been hoping for her return to the spotlight.
However, it is unclear if Williams will ever resume her career as a TV host, as her former time slot has been taken over by another talk show, Sherri, hosted by comedian and actress Sherri Shepherd.
Where Is Wendy Williams? is the latest project by Lifetime that focuses on Williams’ life and career, following the biopic Wendy Williams: The Movie and the documentary Wendy: What a Mess!, which were both released in 2021.
