Three teenagers have been charged with the murder of a man in Kent following a violent incident in Leysdown-on-Sea, on the Isle of Sheppey.
Kent Police said officers were called to reports of a disturbance shortly after 7pm on Sunday. Emergency services arrived to find 49-year-old Alexander Cashford, from Kent, with multiple injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe Mr Cashford was assaulted during what they described as “a disturbance involving a small group of people” in the coastal village.
A 16-year-old girl and two boys, aged 14 and 15, were arrested soon after the incident and taken into custody. All three are from London.
On Tuesday, the suspects were formally charged with murder by joint enterprise, police confirmed.
The teenagers, who cannot be named for legal reasons due to their age, are scheduled to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
In a separate development, a 12-year-old girl was arrested in Basildon, Essex, on Tuesday in connection with the killing.

Police said she remains in custody while further enquiries are carried out.
