Amanda Holden was left visibly stunned on Monday morning as she came face-to-face with her lookalike during a live segment on Heart Breakfast.
The 54-year-old presenter was introduced to Eve Bannerman, dubbed the “UK’s number one Amanda Holden lookalike,” in what quickly turned into a light-hearted and surreal encounter.

Holden burst into laughter upon seeing Eve in the studio, prompting co-host Jamie Theakston to quip that it was “essentially like putting a mirror in the studio.” The Britain’s Got Talent judge responded: “It is very odd. I’ve always said I need two of me, I’m ever so busy.”

With a playful grin, Holden joked, “I might send you off for the weekend with my husband,” drawing further laughter from the studio team.
She went on to say she was flattered by the comparison, acknowledging that Eve looked “definitely younger than me.” Theakston teased that Holden hadn’t fully considered the implications of letting her doppelgänger spend time with her husband.

When asked about her experience as a professional lookalike, Eve admitted that this was her first booking in the role, making her live debut all the more remarkable.
The studio appearance came shortly after Holden hosted an elaborate Beverly Hills-inspired party for her 13-year-old daughter, Hollie, to mark her transition to a new school.

Holden spared no detail for the occasion, hiring a VIP bus for Hollie and her school friends as a preparation for Year 9. The celebration also featured a lavish glamping setup in the family’s garden.
The former Wild At Heart actress shared a video montage of the day on Instagram, offering followers a glimpse of the festivities, including a balloon-filled dining space set up outdoors.
One clip revealed a sign reading: “Hollie’s goodbye for now…” highlighting the sentimental tone of the event as Hollie bids farewell to her current classmates.

In the caption, Holden wrote: “A new era for our #HRH. She’s changing schools!!! To a truly fabulous one closer to home… Roll on Year 9!!” She added that although Hollie won’t see her current friends daily, “they will stay her friends.”
Holden also expressed her appreciation to the party suppliers, writing that while the event was “bought and paid for,” everyone involved had gone “above and beyond to make this a truly special afternoon in the sunshine.”
The event was curated with help from Muddy Boots, a luxury event company, who revealed on social media that the theme for the day was “Beverly Hills vibes.”
Amanda Holden shares daughters Hollie, 13, and Lexi, 19, with her husband Chris Hughes. The couple have been married since 2008.
