Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion Spark Romance Rumours with PDA-Filled Vacation Posts

NBA star Klay Thompson and rapper Megan Thee Stallion have set social media abuzz with speculation about their relationship after posting what fans believe to be matching vacation snaps.

Days after Megan, 30, shared a poolside photo with a mystery man during a Bahamas getaway, Thompson, 35, posted his own set of photos on Instagram that appeared to confirm the couple’s rumoured romance.

In the series of images, Thompson is seen relaxing with a woman whose face is turned away from the camera. However, eagle-eyed followers were quick to note the woman’s bright pink nails — identical to those Megan wore in her earlier post on July 9.

Thompson’s carousel also included a photo of a couple holding hands, further fuelling speculation of a budding relationship between the NBA veteran and the Grammy-winning rapper.

Neither Thompson nor Megan has officially commented on the nature of their relationship, but the Instagram posts have led fans to believe the pair are ready to go public.

Last summer, she and Craig participated in a viral TikTok challenge for couples, where they answered relationship-related questions with their eyes closed — a video Megan later deleted.

Thompson, meanwhile, previously dated actress Laura Harrier.

The four-time NBA champion recently completed his first season with the Dallas Mavericks after spending 13 years with the Golden State Warriors.

In his 2024–25 campaign with Dallas, Thompson averaged 14 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game, bringing veteran leadership to a team in transition.

Last July, Thompson signed a three-year, $50 million deal with the Mavericks during free agency, a move that initially drew praise given Dallas’ NBA Finals appearance that same year.

However, the franchise made headlines in February after trading superstar Luka Dončić to the Los Angeles Lakers — a deal that shocked fans and analysts alike.

The blockbuster trade caused tension within the Mavericks organisation, with many questioning whether Thompson had second thoughts about joining the team.

When asked in April if he regretted the move in light of the Dončić trade, Thompson dismissed the idea.

“That’s kind of a ridiculous question,” he said. “I don’t own a time machine, and I don’t believe in looking back. If I didn’t have my whole career, I wouldn’t be where I’m at.”

Despite the turbulence, optimism remains in Dallas after the team selected Duke standout Cooper Flagg with the first overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.

As Thompson turns the page in both his personal and professional life, all eyes will be on how the next chapter unfolds — both on the court and off it.
