Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion addressed speculation over her use of Slim Thug’s music during her Coachella 2025 performances, making it clear that her tribute was purely artistic and not romantic in nature.
The Houston-born artist included Slim Thug’s tracks “Thug From Around the Way” and the Mike Jones hit “Still Tippin” — which features Slim Thug — in her weekend one set.
In response, Slim Thug took to Instagram, suggesting that Megan might have a “crush” on him.
“If that ain’t a ‘I want you, daddy’ call, I don’t know what is,” he said during a live session with fans. “She danced to two of my songs. I know she got a crush on me.”
However, Megan put the rumors to rest during her weekend two set at Coachella, telling the crowd:
“And no, Slim Thug, this don’t mean I want you. I just like your music, babe.”
Fans quickly took to social media to praise Megan for her straightforward response, with one post on X reading, “Lmfaooooooo I’m glad she said this! Cuz homeboy was THIRSTING for her.”
