NBA star Jimmy Butler sealed a massive move to the Golden State Warriors on trade deadline day, signing a £90 million contract.
In a nod to his close friends, Butler mentioned former Manchester United star Paul Pogba during his unveiling, revealing why he chose the no. 10 shirt.
Pogba, who has a strong friendship with Butler and regularly visits the US to watch his games, was one of the figures Butler referenced when explaining his number choice, alongside Marqueese Grayson and Neymar Jr.

“I’m happy to be here,” Butler said, expressing excitement about his new chapter with the Warriors. “I’ve got a feeling I’m [going to] be back in a big way, too. So I’m smiling.”
Pogba, who wore no. 6 during his time at Manchester United and no. 10 at Juventus, took to Instagram to congratulate Butler on his new move.
