Liverpool and England midfielder Jordan Henderson is set to leave Al Ettifaq and permanently move to Ajax. Despite signing a three-year deal with the Saudi Arabian club managed by Steven Gerrard in July, Henderson is reportedly unhappy and eager to return to Europe. The 33-year-old has agreed with Al Ettifaq for his exit and finalized terms with Ajax for the move to the Eredivisie.

Henderson’s contract in Saudi Arabia will be terminated, with the process nearing completion. Ajax, currently recovering from a challenging season, is positioned fifth in the Eredivisie.
