Megan Thee Stallion is ushering in the Halloween season in her own unique style. In a series of spooky Instagram photos shared on Tuesday, the 29-year-old rapper wears a carved pumpkin over her head.

In the photos, Megan, whose real name is Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, wore a white cropped shirt paired with dark grey shorts and white socks. She posed with the pumpkin on her head, lounging on a couch while flicking through TV channels and holding a large bowl of popcorn.

The Hiss rapper could be striking various poses as she sported the jack-o’-lantern with heart-shaped eyes.

At one point, she covered the jagged pumpkin’s mouth with her hand, revealing an orange ring pop. Her cat also appeared, reaching for a lollipop Megan held in her left hand. Adding to the Halloween ambience, a stuffed animal with a witch hat was placed as a decorative prop.

Megan’s pumpkin-head posts have become a beloved tradition for her fans. Last year, she posed in a different carved pumpkin while sipping coffee outdoors, dressed in turquoise leggings and a colourful sweater. In a past Instagram story, the rapper expressed her love for Halloween, calling it her “favourite time of the year.”

Megan also lounged on a comfy couch with the pumpkin as she flicked through channels on the television.

Fans flooded the comment section of her latest post with excitement. One follower dubbed her “the Mariah Carey of Halloween,” while others praised her for keeping up with the yearly tradition. “You carried on with the tradition!!! Alongside preparing for Halloween, Megan showcased new sparkling grills in an Instagram post over the weekend. The custom grills, designed by Johnny Dang & Co., were featured in a short reel where the rapper teased an unreleased track. In the clip, Megan raps, “I’m at the top of my game / I’m the one who they hate / This s come with the fame / That’s how I knew that I made it…”

Her cat also joined in on the spontaneous photo shoot and could be seen reaching towards a lollipop that Megan held in her left hand.

Megan’s third self-titled album, released in June, reached the number three spot on the Billboard 200 chart. In an interview with ‘L’Officiel’ in May, the rapper explained that the album covers a range of emotions, reflecting her personal growth. “You get a little bit of everything. You get all the emotions in there,” she said.

Last year, in 2023, she also posed wearing a different carved pumpkin over her head as she sipped on a warm cup of coffee.

In addition to her music and Halloween celebrations, Megan has seemingly confirmed her relationship with Chicago Bulls player Torrey Craig. The rapper accidentally shared a TikTok, which was later deleted, showing the couple participating in a bed challenge. This marks the first public acknowledgement of their romance, which has been the subject of speculation for months.

Social media users jumped to Megan’s latest post’s comment section to share their thoughts, with one posting, ‘OMG SHES THE MARIAH CAREY OF HALLOWEEN.’

The Instagram account for retailer Spirit Halloween also commented, ‘We love hottie-ween season,’ followed by a pumpkin emoji.
