British Anglican priest and conservative commentator Calvin Robinson has issued a stark warning to Americans regarding the potential erosion of cultural values.

In an interview with The Christian Post, Robinson cautioned, “Please don’t do what we did. Please don’t just sit back and let the liberals deteriorate the rest of everything that you know and love.”

Recently relocating to the United States to lead a parish ministry in Michigan, Robinson expressed concern that the spiritual and political forces undermining British and Christian values in his home country are now surfacing in the U.S. “Be careful.

American culture is a fantastic culture. Hold on to it, promote it, encourage it,” he urged while advising against sacrificing cultural identity for the sake of multiculturalism.

Robinson’s remarks follow a summer of unrest in England after the tragic murders of three children by a 17-year-old suspect born to Rwandan parents, an incident that sparked significant public outcry.

The priest criticised the British government for threatening to imprison citizens deemed guilty of sharing inflammatory social media posts about the riots while simultaneously releasing criminals from prisons to alleviate overcrowding. “The UK seems to have imploded and lost its common sense,” he stated.

Moreover, Robinson warned that the UK is on the brink of a “civil war” due to escalating tensions surrounding the country’s commitment to diversity and multiculturalism.

He also believes that far-left ideologies have infiltrated The Church of England, undermining the influence of Christianity. “The Church has become very liberal in terms of divorce, sex outside marriage, same-sex relationships, and transgenderism,” he noted. “Every time the Church tries to be more inclusive, it becomes more exclusive to Christianity and Christian values.”

Despite his concerns for the UK and the U.S. following similar troubling trajectories, Robinson emphasised his faith in God’s ultimate plan. “I don’t despair at all. Despair is a sin.

There’s no sense in despair,” he said. “Empires rise and fall, and as this empire — the British Empire, or Western civilisation — falls, we must think big picture and remember that God has a plan.”

In a previous interview with Fox News Digital, Robinson labelled liberalism as “the greatest threat to Christianity” today, arguing that it promotes warped ideologies under the guise of compassion.

He described these radical ideas as stemming from “neo-Marxism,” equating it with communism, which he argues is fundamentally incompatible with the Christian faith.

Robinson concluded by calling for vigilance against such ideologies, warning against complacency towards what he views as “the work of the enemy” in the form of queer theory, gender theory, and critical race theory.

His comments resonate as a rallying cry for those concerned about the preservation of traditional values in both the U.S. and the UK.
