“On one side, you’ll find magnificent homes and hotels, then a wide promenade, followed by the beach with its beautiful sand.”
Another visitor said, “Cross the bridge from the town centre to access this beautiful area.

“The promenade curves around the estuary with grand hotels and houses on one side and the pristine sandy beach with gently shelving water on the other.
“There were lifeguards on duty when we visited, and there are also a couple of cafes along the promenade.

“For cleanliness, facilities, and beautiful views, I doubt you’d find a lovelier spot.”
One visitor noted, “One of the best beaches in Asturias.

“It can be busy in the middle of summer, but it is a great place to enjoy the sun. In the evening, visit one of the many bars in Ribadesella for cider and finger food near the sea.
“It is a very lively beach and village.”
Another added, “This is a beautiful beach in a lovely bay.
“Several surfers in the sea took advantage of the excellent surf.

“The promenade is about 1.5 km long and has several excellent restaurants along its length, but not too many to spoil it.
“A great find. Well worth a visit.”
