Kyle Clifford, 26, remains in serious condition at a London hospital following his apprehension in a North London cemetery by police yesterday. He has yet to be interviewed by officers.

The incident, described by police as a targeted attack, claimed the lives of Carol Hunt, 61, wife of BBC 5 Live racing commentator John Hunt, along with their daughters Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25, at their home in Bushey, Hertfordshire, on Tuesday.

Authorities clarified that there was no prior contact between Clifford, the victims, and Hertfordshire Constabulary before the tragic event.

Friends and mourners have paid tribute to Mrs Hunt and her daughters, gathering outside St James’ Church for a vigil. Lea Holloway, a childhood friend of Mrs Hunt, expressed profound sadness, saying, “We grew up together and were pregnant at the same time. This is the stuff nightmares are made of.”

Among the tributes was a card featuring an image of a dog, with a note stating, “RIP Louise. Reggie says thank you for making him look so handsome. RIP Carol and Hannah.”

Another poignant message read, “Louise, Hannah and Carol. The strongest woman to ever exist. You’ll always be remembered. I wish I could continue living with you, Louise, my beautiful girlie. I’ll miss you forever.”
