Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., expressed frustration with a reporter on Wednesday when questioned about her stance on President Biden’s candidacy amid increasing pressure for him to withdraw from the race.
In a video shared on X, ABC News reporter Rachel Scott approached Pelosi in the halls of Congress, inquiring if she had spoken with Biden following her earlier remarks urging him to decide his campaign. Pelosi responded tersely, stating she wouldn’t publicly discuss her conversations with the president.
Speaker Pelosi tells me Biden can win
She says she won’t make comments in the hallway about “the fate of our nation”
When I asked if Biden should run she said
“Am I speaking English to you? I’m not going to be making any statements about any of that right now in the hallway..” pic.twitter.com/8R1KsTuTc0

When Scott pressed further about whether she believed Biden could win in November and if she supported his re-election bid, Pelosi asserted her confidence in Biden’s ability to win but refused to engage further on the topic in the hallway.
Pelosi’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.
Biden has reiterated his commitment to running for re-election, citing his belief in defeating former President Trump in multiple interviews and communications with congressional Democrats.
While speaking on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Pelosi emphasized that Biden had not decidedly about running, urging him to make a timely decision.
Later, Pelosi clarified to CBS News’ Jaala Brown that her statements had been misinterpreted, reiterating that she never suggested Biden should reconsider his decision.
