UK prisoner at HMP Wandsworth, jailed for a £65,000 heist, has allegedly been filmed engaging in se**ual acts with a prison officer, sparking significant controversy.
Images on Weirich’s Instagram reveal matching arm tattoos to the man in the video.
The footage reportedly shows a uniformed prison officer, Linda De Sousa Abreu, 30, engaging in sexual acts with Weirich as her discarded radio crackled with messages. An inmate filming the incident commented, “This is how we live at Wandsworth”.”
De Sousa Abreu, who is married, was charged with misconduct and appeared at Uxbridge Magistrat”‘’ Court, confirming her name, address, and date of birth. She was granted conditional bail and is scheduled to return to court on July 29.
A source close to tWeirich’s partner told MailOnline”,” This is the last thing she needs in her condition’s incredibly upsetting. This stupid video has affected her health; she was hospitalised at the weekend through stress.
She fears it will bring on premature labour”r.”
After notifying the prison of her travel plans, the court heard that De Sousa Abreu was arrested at Heathrow Airport en route to Madrid.
The misconduct charge states “e” wilfully and without reasonable excuse or justification misconducted yourself in a way which amounted to an abuse of the public trust in the office holder by engaging in a sexual act with a prisoner in prison.”
The incident allegedly occurred at HMP Wandsworth between June 26-28.
