In an intimate ceremony in Buckinghamshire, the beloved BBC weather presenter Carol Kirkwood she recently exchanged vows with her partner Steve.

Kirkwood expressed joy, describing the wedding as “perfect, romantic, and intimate.” Colleagues from BBC Breakfast conveyed their heartfelt congratulations through a special message on X.

Exclusive images shared by the BBC Breakfast X account capture Kirkwood in a timeless boat neckline satin dress, reminiscent of the Duchess of Sussex’s iconic style. Clutching a bouquet of long-stemmed roses, Kirkwood radiated elegance. Former BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker extended his best wishes to X, referring to Steve as “one very fortunate gentleman” and praising Kirkwood as “the best of us all.”

Kirkwood initially revealed her engagement to Steve on BBC Breakfast in May last year. Colleagues Sally Nugent and Jon Kay congratulated her on air during her coverage of the Chelsea Flower Show. Recounting the proposal, Kirkwood shared her surprise, mentioning that she had “absolutely no idea” Steve was planning to propose.

A former contestant on the 2015 series of BBC One’s *Strictly Come Dancing*, Kirkwood danced alongside Pasha Kovalev. Despite keeping her partner’s identity private, Kirkwood, while promoting her debut romantic novel *Under A Greek Moon* in 2021, acknowledged him, saying, “He’s only a secret boyfriend because I never talk about him.”
