Abby and Brittany Hensel, conjoined twins, have given insight into Abby’s wedding with the help of “The Tortured Poets Department.”
Abby, a teacher, married nurse, and United States Army veteran Josh Bowling in 2021. The former TLC reality stars, now 34 years old, shared a compilation video of their special day on TikTok earlier this month.
The video, set to Swift’s song “But Daddy I Love Him,” showcased four photos of the twins and Abby’s husband.
The video, which starts with a shot of Abby, Brittany, and Bowling posing with a young flower girl holding a bouquet of flowers on the wedding day, has garnered 3.4 million views.
Another photo displayed Abby and Brittany in their wedding attire, standing next to Bowling in a grey suit in front of candles and a floral arrangement.
The last two photos in the montage seemed to be posed pictures of the trio and not from the wedding itself.
Abby and Bowling’s 2021 marriage at the Jerome Event Center in Delano, Minnesota, only became public knowledge when Today.com obtained public records confirming the nuptials in March 2024.
Reportedly, Abby did not list her twin as a witness to her marriage. Instead, Abby and Bowling both listed her other sister, Morgan Hensel and a person named Cosmo Naut as witnesses.
The twins first gained national attention in 1996 when they appeared on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and later had their reality show on TLC called “Abby & Brittany.”
Abby and Brittany are dicephalic conjoined twins, meaning they have two heads side by side on one torso. They share the same organs below the waist and the same bloodstream. Brittany controls the left arm and leg, while Abby controls the right side.
