The daughter of Kim Kardashian and the rapper North West will make her singing debut at the Hollywood Bowl this Friday during the first night of The Lion King concert. She will perform the song “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King.”
West will join other “Lion King” veterans such as Nathan Lane, Billy Eichner, Jeremy Irons, and Jennifer Hudson. The musical score by Hans Zimmer will be performed by a full orchestra led by conductor Sarah Hicks. The setlist includes classic songs by Elton John and Tim Rice, such as “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” and “Circle of Life.”
The performances will be recorded for future broadcast on Disney+. The event is presented by Disney Concerts, Fulwell 73 Productions, AMP Worldwide, and Live Nation-Hewitt Silva.
Eichner shared his excitement for the Hollywood Bowl event during a rehearsal, mentioning that all producers have gathered for the occasion.
