Dublin Man Sentenced to Life in Prison for Killing Three Siblings in Tallaght
A 26-year-old man from Tallaght, Dublin, has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his two sisters and brother at their family home nearly two years ago.
Andy Cash, residing on Rossfield Avenue in Tallaght, admitted guilt in the Central Criminal Court for the murders of 18-year-old Lisa Cash, and her eight-year-old twin siblings, Christy and Chelsea Cawley. The tragic incident occurred in the early hours of September 4, 2022.
Brendan Grehan SC, representing Cash, informed Mr Justice Paul McDermott that his client was ready to be arraigned on all counts listed in the indictment.
Sean Gillane SC, representing the Director of Public Prosecutions, confirmed there were three counts on the indictment related to the murders.
Cash appeared before the court for arraignment proceedings, responding with “guilty” when the charges were read to him by the registrar. The courtroom included members of the victims’ family who were present during the hearing.
